Referring to your Confidential Despatch of the

3rd. January last, I have the honour to submit for the significa- -tion of His Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinances entitled:-

An Ordinance to declare the terms and conditions applic-

-able to Loans authorised to be raised by the Govern-

-ment of Hongkong and to provide for the creation of

Hongkong Inscribed Stock: No. 7 of 1913.

An Ordinance to make provision for raising a Loan of

Two hundred and fifty thousand pounds Sterling for

the purposes of Railway Construction; No. 8 of

1913.
